Frank Naeymi-Rad, PhD, MBA
Chairman of the Board
Dr. Naeymi-Rad is President and Chief Executive Officer of Intelligent Medical Objects, Inc. He was co-founder of Intelligent Medical Systems, Inc., which was sold to Glaxo in 1994, in addition to other entrepreneurial ventures. He has been nominated for special recognition by the Oracle Corporation Smithsonian Award in the category of Medicine. Dr. Naeymi-Rad is a member of numerous professional organizations, as well as author and co-author of numerous peer reviewed publications in the field of Medical Informatics. His degrees are from Southern Illinois University and the Illinois Institute of Technology, the latter a Ph.D. in Computer Science.

Mr. Cobb is CEO of Indak Manufacturing Corporation. He graduated from Northwestern University in Mechanical Engineering.
Andrew S. Kanter, MD, MPH
Dr. Andrew Kanter is Director of Health Information Systems/Medical Informatics for the Millennium Villages Project at the Earth Institute and is Asst. Prof. of Clinical Biomedical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology at Columbia University. He received both his MD and MPH from Harvard University in 1991 and completed a medical residency and Chief residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle from 1991-1995. Through his interest in the application of ICT to health for the developing world, he has worked in and traveled through more than 50 countries. He most recently spent 12 years with IMO® as Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President (at various times). While at Columbia, he is currently coordinating the development and implementation of the Millennium Global Village-Network (MGV-Net) for the Millennium Villages Project.
Kim C. Meyers, MD
Dr. Meyers, a pioneer in EMRs, is an internist affiliated with Evanston Northwestern Healthcare. He received his medical degree from Loyola University. He currently practices in Evanston and serves as the chief teaching attending at Evanston Hospital. He has been an innovative researcher in EMRs for the past ten years.
Ted A. Meyers
Ted A. Meyers is a partner in the law firm of Foote, Meyers, Mielke & Flowers, LLC, located in Geneva, Illinois. Mr. Meyers’ practice is concentrated in transactional work, including acting as corporate counsel for a diverse group of large and small businesses in the Chicago area. He graduated from Notre Dame University with a BA majoring in Economics & Computer Applications. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Meyers worked as a systems analyst for Keebler Corporation.
Charles Safran, MD
Dr. Charles Safran is a primary care internist who has devoted his professional career to improving patient care through the creative use of informatics. He is Chief of the Division of Clinical Informatics, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is a past President and Chairman of American Medical Informatics Association and was previously Vice-President of the International Medical Informatics Association. He is an elected fellow of both the American College of Medical Informatics and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Safran is co-Editor of the International Journal of Medical Informatics and on the Health on the Net (HON) Foundation Council. He was recently appointed to the Consumer Empowerment workgroup of the American Health Information Community, formed by the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services. He graduated cum laude in Mathematics and hold a Masters degree in mathematical logic and a Doctor of Medicine, all from Tufts University.
David Trace, MD
Dr. Trace has been the strategic director of The Kennedy Group (TKG), a healthcare information technology advisory group, since 2000. He was IMO's Chairman of the Board from 1995 to 1999 and also chief medical officer for Healthpoint/Healthmatics during that time. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
