The Medication
Portal is a web-based service that can be hosted on IMO servers or your server. The portal leverages the same Medication database but provides search results employing best practice searching algorithms IMO has refined over thousands of queries. Search results are returned in XML or JSON formats that are easily consumable by your application, or even through a web browser as seen in this example.
What you are looking at
The sample on the right is a full implementation of the
MedicationPortal using a simple browser interface so you can test it.
How to test it
The best way to understand it is to use it! A fast way to try it out is to put in a simple search term. You don't need to spell out the words, just put in the first few letters of each.For example:
- Try "vic es" for Vicodin ES
- Try "pax" for Paxil. Be sure to click on the response for it to see the product information detail.
